Business and Commercial Law—I provide a wide variety of services to business clients, including assisting in selecting the type of organizational entity under which to operate, negotiating and preparing business agreements, assisting in the sale and purchase of a business, obtaining financing and funding for business operations, and assisting in dissolution or business succession.

Business Organizations—I assist clients in choosing the entity they would like to operate as business startups, including C corporations, S corporations, limited liability companies (LLC's), partnerships, and limited liability partnerships (LLP's).

Contracts— I have experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing all types of contracts, whether commercial or private. I have experience with leases and sales, real estate and employment contracts. An experienced attorney can help you avoid future legal problems through proper drafting and by explaining your contractual rights and duties.

Employment Law— Employment law covers a complex network of laws that control how employers must treat employees, former employees and applicants for employment. I have significant experience in representing and advising employees and employers in employment law and personnel matters, including negotiating and preparation of severance agreements; trade secret protection issues; covenants not to compete (preparation, review and enforcement issues); drafting and negotiating employment contracts and disputes concerning employment contracts; and independent contractor disputes.

Litigation and Appeals-I represent and advise clients who are or may become involved in a lawsuit or appeal as a result of a dispute - including prevention and settlement - in such areas as employment claims, contract disputes, and business and commercial matters.

Real Estate—As a knowledgeable real estate lawyer, I represent clients in a variety of real estate situations, in both residential and commercial purchases and sales, including preparation and review of contracts and property leases. Within the area of real estate, I also handle matters of landlord/tenant law: I help landlords create lease agreements and assist with eviction and non-payment of rent or breach of lease agreements.
