The form of business chosen for a business entity potentially affects every aspect of its operations. I assist clients in Denver in formation and business planning and deciding whether they want to operate as a closely held business, limited liability company, partnership, or corporation. I advise clients about directors’ and officers’ liability, dissolution, franchising, reorganization, trade association membership and activity, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, business successions, and shareholders’ rights.

After I assist clients in the formation of their business, my relationship usually continues on throughout the life of the business.  I provide a wide variety of services to business clients in the Denver, Colorado area including assisting in selecting the type of organizational entity under which to operate, negotiating and preparing business agreements, assisting in the sale and purchase of a business, obtaining financing and funding for business operations, and assisting in dissolution or business succession.  I can also assist in other business needs such as purchase of real property or commercial leases, as well as employment matters.
